Welcome to my new blog, and to my new idea of getting to know the restaurants of Oakland by trying out every single one of them (over time, of course).
I'll add more features to this blog in the future, but right now, wanted to start gatering together our "wish list" of restaurants (see to the right). Someday I'll figure out a more live/interactive way to do this, but for now, it will have to do. ;-)
I'd be interested in trying Sidebar on Grand Ave. It's a relatively new restaurant; the specialty is the goat cheese souffle which is served on Wednesdays. But the other menu items sound yummy too.
